Coming Out Anniversary

Today is my coming out anniversary!!!

IT’S BEEN ✌🏼 YEARS since I came out online! To be real, surrendering to my queerness was much more of a coming IN than a coming OUT. An actual homecoming!

Walking away from Mormonism gave me permission to imagine a life beyond the one I’d been accustomed to. I consider myself lucky to have been a convert to the Mormon faith. There was no need to unpack any shame or internalized homophobia. It didn’t exist. Sadly, I know this isn’t everyone’s story. When everything clicked for me and I knew beyond my bones I was gay, I unyieldingly gave way to the wild femme queer goddess within! She’s here to stay. 👸🏻
